Austin Lee Young, a Colorado native, picked up his first guitar at age 12 and hasn't put it Austin Youngdown since. Self taught, he churns out the blues and displays his music with electrifying passion that defies his young age. He engages his audience and can match any seasoned performer that currently draws large crowds. His inspirations run the gauntlet of the Blues from historical giants such as Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters to contemporary masters like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Currently Austin and his band perform locally and nationally in established music clubs, numerous music festivals, private functions, and special events. He incorporates the sheer honesty of the blues and performs it with a modern, high energy sound that remains faithful to its traditional roots. Tim has been playing music for most of his life. He started playing drums when he was 8, Tim Young participated in the high school and college jazz band and has played in various musical groups since. He is currently the heartbeat of the band, driving its sound forward with hard pounding crispness that encompasses impeccable timing. Tim has three amazing children, one of which is Austin Young (AYAND band leader), who reminds Tim occasionally just who "the boss" really is. According to Tim, playing in a great blues band with his son is truly a dream come true and one that he thanks God for every waking minute.Austin Lee Young
Noah Coleman Mast was born April 14, 1995 in Beverly Hills, California. He is the youngest of five brothers, all of whom are musically inclined. Noah has played the bass, guitar, and drums since he was 8 years old. While Noah appreciates many musical influences like Phil Lesh, Noel Redding, and Victor Wooten, he has developed his own melodic and stirring style on the bass guitar. Noah brings his fresh creativity and energetic attitude to the band. And, as one school band teacher once expressed, "he keeps time like a clock."

Colorado's 17-year-old Blues phenom, AUSTIN YOUNG, is an astounding guitarist, naturally emotive singer, and prolific songwriter. His inspirations range from Blues giants to guitar masters. As he devastates audiences near home and at concerts and festivals, he is a hard act to follow even for today's established stars. This is a landmark worldwide debut from a young artist with a huge future.

"To play the blues as a teenager is a parlor trick. To own them (as Young does, on occasion) is a life's mission begun to be fulfilled."Blue As Can Be" is a healthy blend of traditional blues attitudes and modern takes, of building tensions and private releases, of explosive energy and seemingly impossible restraint."
