Translated from an Italian language site: The passion for the blues began to
Roberto Formignani (guitar, vocals) and Anthony D'Adamo (harmonica) in 1981
when he founded "The Mannish Blues Band", with which they get national
recognition (of the night, Pistoia Blues, Milan Blues festival, Aventino
Blues, Blues Imola, etc. ..).
The project THE bluesmen started in '93 with the fundamental contribution of
a new rhythmic base consists Corticelli Bruno (bass) and Daniele Barbieri
(drums), driving the quartet to revisit in a personal way as the classic
blues sound, the first work was realized in 1996, producing the CD with the
music label of acoustic blues-swing "Brave Blues."
Today, the group shows a renewed and energetic sound thanks to the drumming
of Robert Morsch, and drawing on twenty years experience in blues music,
offers a new work produced by the Municipality of Ferrara - Department of
Political and Cultural Institutions, by the name " The Bluesmen, "which
contains 11 songs including 9 originals, ranging from blues-rock, swing,
delta blues.
