For years, alongside the legendary Fabio Treves crush the boxes of the most important Italian and international festivals as well as participate in the recording of two albums "Treves 3"in 1985 and "Sunday's Blues" in 1988 where there is the presence of important artists such as Chuck Leavell (already with the Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton, and others), Dave Kelly (Blues Band) hero of British Blues, Pick Withers (Dire Straits drummer).

Maurizio Glielmo life to "Gnola Blues Band" which was officially founded in 1989 with the initial aim of covering the routes most classic blues. The band starts with interpretations of standards (Elmore James, Muddy Waters) until the fusion of elements of tradition in interesting compositions.
 
The GBB is supported by the pulsating heart of the couple Bertagna / Pavin, drums and bass respectively, a rhythm section capable of granitic space and light of the soloists with particular attention to the dynamics. an irreplaceable contribution piano Roger Mugnaini, always ready to ' elegant accompaniment of Seicorde Glielmo in personal or propose "only" on both piano and organ.

The live shows soon became frantic, the musical credibility came into being thanks to the participations at various festivals with international artists and record production at the first "First Step"in 1991 which collects flattering reviews from critics (The Blues, Buscadero, Making Music , Wild Bunch, etc..) up to the second studio album "Walkin 'through the shadows of the blues"which won the Award for best jazz & blues album of 2000 and is delivered by Ernesto De Pascale (Rai 2) to blues festival in Bordighera.

Deep knowledge of the use of dobro and technology "slide" in general, is expressed by figures in this technique so as to be consderato a specialist at the national level. This ability allows him to be invited as a session man for non-strictly blues but encroaching into pop music, rock and pop.

In the summer 2003 meeting with the Atlanta singer, Sandra Hall, gives birth to an intense collaboration that continues today with a series of concerts at major festivals in Italy (including Pistoia Blues 07) and in Europe and the recording the CD "Red Bone Woman" (2007), eleven tracks of which nine signed by Glielmo, Mugnaini and Sandra Hall.

In 2006 he released the album "Gnola Blues Band live at Music Space" recorded over two evenings at the "local historian of Pavia, and for this work, we received excellent reviews from major magazines. Always in the year Glielmo takes part in the studio session of three tracks of the "Space Blues ", a compilation of the best musicians that revolve around the legendary venue, Pavia.

In summer 2009 the band accompanying the singer / guitarist Roy Roberts with a series of concerts in the most important blues festival in Italy and Europe.

In September of that year Maurice Glielmo starts the recording with Jimmy Ragazzon and will soon release "Blues, ballads and songs" CD produced by Fabrizio Scotti work for the label GOOD COMPANY mostly acoustic traditional blues songs and once again personal interpretations of some cover.
