About the Band
Gregg Juke - a 20 year veteran of the music
scene as a musician, performer, producer, arranger, recording artist,
songwriter, educator, and music journalist - has had a long-standing
dream: to have fun playing the Blues, Soul and Roots Rock with a group
of high-caliber musicians that can handle challenging original material,
as well as classic standards and covers presented in a new way.
The Mighty No-Stars were formed with a core
group of some of Western New York ’s finest “unknown” musicians, but the
players in the No-Stars have all been at the “music game” a long time.
For the best in Contemporary and Classic
Blues, R&B, Blues-Rock, Soul and Originals, check out the Mighty
No-Stars!

Bret
Norvilitis - Drums
Bret played bebop jazz in a quartet called
"The Others" in Detroit. When he moved to Buffalo he subbed with Harvey
and the Hurricanes, Eric Mowry and the Showdogs, Live Wire, Easy Street
Sliders, and Big Tobacco.
Bret loves playing the blues and roots music
because of the groove. Setting up a deep pocket that gets people dancing
is one of life’s greatest satisfactions.
Bret recently signed an endorsement deal
with JC's Custom
Drums of Detroit.
And introducing the Mighty No-Subs...
From time to time, when one of our regular
band members can't make a gig, we bring in one of these fine musicians
to fill the void.

JJ
Moscato - Keyboards
From J.J. Mocato's "MySpace" page:
"Since the age of 16, year after year J.J. Moscato has been rated as one
of the top Blues keyboard players in Buffalo and was honored with a
"Muddy Award" by Blues Beat Magazine for "Most Promising New Local
Talent."
Much of his success can be attributed to his
ability to settle into the groove and treat the keys as a part of the
rhythm section. He can cut loose with the best of them, screaming on the
Hammond or rattling the piano, but it’s his attention to the groove that
has made him one of Buffalo’s most sought after session and live
players."
We couldn't have said it better. Who's your press agent, J.J.?

Adam Cesar - Keyboards
Adam has played and studied the piano for
many years of his young life. He brings a Jazz background and a fresh
approach to the stage whenever he performs with Gregg Juke & The Mighty
No-Stars. Adam will be returning to fill the keyboard slot for the
Summer 2007 season.

Paul Warner - Drums
Formerly of Western New York favorites Two
Hills, Paul has also performed with international recording artists Ron
Kenoly and Will McFarlane, and has opened shows for the Marshall Tucker
Band and the Charlie Daniels Band.
