Blues musician Gregory "DC" Bellamy grew up on Chicago's West Side, but he's made Kansas City his home for the past several years.

Kansas City, MO – As a child, "DC" Bellamy says his musical influences ranged from gospel to jazz to classical music. But, he says it was the rhythm and blues scene that probably had the greatest impact on his musical style. KCUR Fish Fry host Chuck Haddix talked to Bellamy recently about his background.
