Liz Lottman (Lectric Liz) has been touring nationally and
internationally with rock and blues bands since 1968. In Memphis in the
1980s, she performed with Don McMinn's Blues Revue, which at times featured
Steve Cropper, Duck Dunn, and Willy Hall of The Blues Brothers, and Jeff
"Stick" Davis and Billy Earheart of The Amazing Rhythm Aces. She has shared
stages with Fleetwood Mac, Dizzy Gillespie, Huey Lewis,
ZZ Top, and a host of blues legends including
Furry Lewis,
Lightnin' John Hopkins, and
Stevie Ray Vaughan. She is the
only female singer/songwriter to have recorded under contract at Sam
Phillips Studio in Memphis. "Memphis Revisited" is her triumph.
True "Memphis Sound" featuring the right-on vocals of Liz Lottmann, backed
by members of the Amazing Rhythm Aces, with special guest Ben Cauley of the
legendary Bar-Kays. These seasoned Memphis players really deliver the
package -- that indefinable R&B/soul/country/blues/rock melange of music
that comes only from Memphis.
Billy Earheart - keys; Fred James - guitar, vocals; Brian Wings - drums; Ben
Cauley - trumpet, vocals; Mary-Ann Brandon - vocals; Dennis Taylor - sax.
