Marcos Coll and Adrián Costa began playing together in Santiago de Compostela in 1992 following a great friendship and strong musical connection, with the common denominator being the blues.

After forming different groups like the Red Blues Band and Bluerags, they settled in Madrid in  1999 and would soon form part of a band who were veterans of the Spanish blues, the Tonky Blues Band. With them, they took part in numerous jazz and blues festivals throughout Spain as well as accompanying prestigious artists like Amar Sundy, Zack Prather, and the legendary Mick Taylor (ex Rolling Stones) and Buddy Miles (Jimi Hendrix, Santana) with whom, in addition to playing live, they have collaborated in recording sessions. As a duo, they achieve a close chemistry, extending this natural connection to their audience, who have been won over since the first chords were struck.

In their music, all types of influences common to blues, can be detected, from jazz, to ragtime  and gospel. Their repertoire is never lacking in blues classics like “Need my babe” (W. Horton), “Woman don’t lie” (L. Johnson), and “Tight dress” (G. Smith), as well as other jazz and soul tracks “I left my heart in San Francisco”,  “Yesterdays”, “Revelation” and “Wade in the water” amongst others. All of these transform their music into a compendium of colours and textures that could leave nobody feeling indifferent.
