Sir Jay & His Blue Orchestra - Hello fellow musicians and friends! This happy and highly energetic band is located in Malmo/Sweden. The orchestra was founded in 2001. Our first album - Let..s Jump Tonight was well received and opened some fine doors for us. We mostly play jazz and blues clubs/festivals around Scandinavia but have also toured in Tjeckia (The Prague international Jazzfestival - 07) and in Germany. Our latest cd - Blues for Uncle Sam, @ Box records, (Distribution by Playground Music Scandinavia), was written by me and then arranged by the band. Since 2005 I run a Blues/swing/jazz jamsession every monday night @ "Pickwick pub", Malmö. Please drop by if you can!
